skin_n_bones Statusless Send PM Posts: Threads: Money: £0.00 (D) (+ Friend)	Im installing Norton antivirus right now. But during the installation it says: Error 1303. The installation has insufficient to access this directory: C:\Program Files\Common files\Symantec Shared\VirusDefs. The installation cannot continue. Log on as administrator or contact your system administrator. But I AM the system administrator, and I can't even access the directory myself. Tax: -4% (+ Friend)	I currently use avast, and i like it, the different scanning modules can be stopped separately, there are almost daily updates, and it doesn't eat too much ram. But for better use you should configure the background scanning to high setting, this ensures the created files are scanned, not only the read files. Also, disable VRDB, it's really annoying and useless imo. There is also a privacy service and spam killer on but i dont use them because the privacy service interfers with winamp radio. But to skin_n_bones I used to use norton and had the same problem once when i had reinstalled my computer, I think i finally got it working after lots of installing and uninstalling but if i was you, go buy McAfee :-) I use McAfee Secuirty center which has a decent firewall and virus protection on.
