i think they are 60s.....i don't know though...i haven't ever gotten any Fs..lol

Neither have I but you should still know what the mark is. Tho I was watching american news and there skooling system is much weirder than Canadians. And here, 50% if an F. 60 is a D..i think.

Here's the grading scale where I am:
100-93 A
92--86 B
85--77 C
76--70 D
69---0 F

Those are insane standards! I know people who are happy with 69s..

Yeah, it's based on percentages. I was watching on the states news that they were planning to change it to a rating on how well u improve. I suppose that would help those retarted children =/

Glenn, here some teachers used to use that grading scale. Now everyone has changed back to the old standard of

0-59%		F
60-69%		D
70-79%		C
80-89%		B< /td>
90-100%		A

that one is easier to remember....

where i am, only external tests get graded with a letter, generally homework will just get an effort grade relevant to how much work u put into it.

As for proper tests, up to KS3 (age 14) it's done on a national curriculum level which is a number from 1 to 8.

At KS4 and 5 (GCSE & A Level age 15-1 You'll get a letter, but the actual percenatages vary from test to test as if a test is unusually hard everyone will score low but the top 10% or so will still get the top grades.

at GCSE the available grades are:
A* A B C - These are considered Good
D E F G - These are considered passes but are not very good
U - unclassified

At A level it is simplified to
A B C D E U

My god ur grading system is fucked up in the US..That's like getting an A for being the best of shit on a test..
