there's a preview on the home page, so you'd get 2 hits from that.

If you wanna get technical a hit is every server request, so an html page with external JS and CSS and 20 images. The raw stats will record this as 23 hits.

Be rather funny to see the actual btp webalizer stats.

so like, if you loaded all the maps, 50000000 a page, and theres like 4000 maps, you would get 4000 previews?(if they all had peviews)

is that how it goes? I dont want to be confuzzled..

MrrLL, you would get one 'BTP' hit for each of those previews - but it would take ages to load, and would probably be bad for the server. heh.

lol HarrY. That is misleading. Ther'yre not going down. In case you hadn't noticed, May isn't finished yet. And we weren't on this server for much of march, so they didn't shoot up. The only truly representative month is april.

oh, and the stats aren't continually updated. Those were updated v. early this morning.

Seems to me like someone found out how to get lots of hits and started refreshing the page to me...

Something needs to be done about that, without a doubt. Can't you make it so people don't get 1 hit per preview?

actually 802 / day sounds a bit low to me. heh. It feels like I manage that evrey day by myself. I trust the stats tho.

I think there should be time stamps on the shoutbox so you know when someone has said what. They wouldn't have to actually be on your post but maybe if you hover over it, it could tell you when that shout was posted.
