EDIT: A comic featuring our very own ReadMe Crappy coloring I know, twas intentional. I think it's okay, but I'll leave that to your opinion(s).

I am sorry for double posting, just makin' sure it would be noticable that there was something new ANYWAY, does anyone know why my "paint filler" tool in FireWorks doesn't work? Cause it fills the whole thing, that's why I had to do it by hand...

You have to use the selection tool probably. I don't have fireworks but that's how most programs work.

maby the tolerance is set wrong.....or maby u need 2 select the corrct bitmap
but that comic is pretty funny

The fill tool only works on flattened images.

To flatten an image, select the object(s) and then go to the layers panel on the right.
Then click the small button in the title bar at the far right.
Click flatten selection and then use the fill tool.

This technqiue will make the lines uneditable with the black or white cursor tool.

Wishmaster and readme prefer to colour their worms in by using the brush tool and filling in the colour by using big brush sizes and literally painting the areas chosen. They then move the outline layer above the brush layer and it gives teh impression of a fill technqieu used.

A 3rd technique is avaliable if the lines were drawn with the vector path tool. Select the outline and then in the properties panel at the bottom, choose a fill colour. This many not look right if the line does not join up at the end to the beginning.
