It's useful for them. If a current and accustomed member sees the new user doing something stupid, just tell them their mistakes since they're a newb.

Where as greens can be flamed as much as you want.

Comments pages, graves and flags submitted etc... they get everywhere.

most of the ppl subscibed to btp just use it for the maps and schemes ect

yeah i did that at first. But then the forum caught my eye.

I actually found it quite hard to fit in here. Its a close knit community compared to some other forums.

When i first joind i was alll about making nameplates, ive scince moved on to posting

When i joined I just went about the pages, like most n**bs but I then moved up to the forum (bad idea becouse I didn't read the rules properly)

The only other forum I've seen a less close knit community than btp, is the weebl and bob forums. They're very very open.

But every worms forum I've been to (wv, cl2k, t17) are all very close. It's something about worms I guess...

CS forums are too hardcore and full of moaners.

Warcraft forums are always asking about WoW.

FarCry forums are still talking about the demos released since alot of ppl's PC can't handle it...

HL2 and Doom3 are all obsessed about release dates and trying to get sneak previews...

Rainbow Six forums ask for punk buster support and ask for weird gadgets in up and coming expansion packs.

The once active rct forums were generally all round great and useful but now they're derelict.

The age of king forums are full of comments talking about the amount of rushing there is...

Planetside and EVE forums are elitist for some reason...

Black & White is full of bragging about their own pets...

Medieval Total War forums are also like the rct forums and very useful talking about tactics and great online wars...

You wouldn't believe how many forums I'm in...

BTP is the only worms sight i visit regulally.

Yeah, I visit all the ones I gave a description of regularly including the weebl and bob forum and the wormiverse forum.

I think cl2k are too arrogant and the t17 one is way too active and needs a better way to oragnise threads imco.

THe only other forum other than this one I go to is the Nukular power. Home of 8-bit theater. There quite open (EG picture thread open) and a lot of the stuff we talk about is anime and vidoe games. Quite a big RP site too.
