how about inverting the colours on the text or maybe giving it an outer glow. Just doesn't stand out enough.

nice job fuzz....it is cool looking...got a 3dish look.....i can't really add text anymore...lol it is annoying...i can't really give you any help....maybe a glow like readme said.....or a stroke.....

The idea with the text was to try to get it as similer to the bg as posible but make it so it's readable, just for a test and such :) and I think the bg atleast worked :)
Also, as you see I have made IMO, a better bg texturey thing than a grid... well..... it is grid ish I spose :D
