every game i play does something to my desktop. wwp puts it in a differant resalution and makes the background smaller. halflife puts all the icons in the top left hand corner. unreal games don't even work. so why does this happen to me. ________________  | |

i run wwp at the same as my desktop and halflife says that it is the same but i know its not cause when i alt-tab out of it its all differant.

whenever i have the desktop problem i start a game with no scheme or map but the default on create a single or multiplayer game section and then i quit out of it. the rest of the games work. i dont know why but it always works 4 me. try it.
