I ran into Worms 2 at computer camp.
Windows 98, some kid installed it on his computer. It was fun.

Years later, 2002, I came across Worms Armageddon. Played online in 2003, and I wanted my own maps to play on. Did a Google search for some maps, and I come across Bloopy's Worm Page. I had all his shopper maps, man.

Favorite Bloopy map at the time was his marijuana one. On the map it said "Why drink and drive, when you can smoke and fly?"

Brilliant.

Also, Bloopy's webpage was the only page I could find maps on at the internet at the time. So I'm a big fan, man. Thanks for all the good times Bloopy!

In an old friend of mines closet-office in 1999. I was hanging out and he was just showing me this new game. At the time, Half Life and all Counter-Strike had come out, so after showing me those, he showed me Worms Armageddon. I was in love as soon as I saw the Ming Vase and Mike's Carpet Bomb.

True story, this old friend is coming back into town on the 11th. He and I are going to have a rate good time.

In 1995, which was my first year of high school, I was still in contact with my best friend from primary school. One time I went round to his place and he had Worms 1. We played it and I thought it was awesome. I soon visited a computer store and got Worms United.

I suppose that's one "good" thing about my degree (aero engineering), there aren't too many terms/words/etc that have "alternative" meanings.
What, like cockpits, turboshafts, thrust, nozzles, corkscrews, ram drag, payload, flaps, and wind tunnels?

This is meant to be fucking meaningful,

I don't remember, must have been 2003 or something like that, my brother showed me WWP, loved it, got a copy, played it a lot, then nobody went on there anymore, found Worms Armageddon, played that a lot, and now I have been clean for around a year. Haha.

wait. That makes you 3 years older than me. I think that makes sense, you seemed pretty old in that web series you had. Can't remember what it was called, but it was funny.

But I am 17! Right? I'm sleeping with 19 year old girls, so it only makes sense.

I came across Worms 2 in 1999 at the age of 9 when visiting my mother's aunt, it was also the first time I ever saw porn, her son had left his cancerous PC open. Bought Worms World Party in 2001 and immediately started making custom maps, graves, speeches and other shit that I would later upload for people on a site that was up during 2003-2006. It was during these times I discovered Bloopy's cool site with a bunch of useful tips for map making, for instance. I also remember giving out my maps to C1 in order to get them uploaded in Contra Clan site and the files seemed to get popular; they also ended up being added to the Shopper map pack.

I was never into online clans really, although I did form a short-lived clan oh-so-ambitiously called "DK" (stood for Dominokeksit) with two other Finnish players that I got to know in WormNet, Loli and Peltzi. The latter is probably still hanging around these premises. I stopped playing regularly around 2007, two years after I first started playing a 2D shooter game called Soldat which I've now quit too, around February 2011. It was the only game I played real competitively online.

STOP!

Bloopy! That means you are 27. I am 21, and Alfred is now 18?

That can't be. I'm certain, Alfred, that you are either the same age as me, or slightly older.

27, 21, and Alfred is bad at maths.

Case solved.
